Lotura
Rooted in the earth, guided by craft.
LOTURA is the invisible link between ancestral knowledge and human interaction with nature. It is a constant dialogue between our roots and the world we inhabit; between who we were and who we strive to become.
We live hyper-connected in the digital world, yet often disconnected from what truly matters. This collection invites us to reconnect with nature — to feel the earth again and appreciate the work done by hand.
This collection is born out of respect for the Earth and for the people who work the land by hand. It is a tribute to craftsmanship and to a legacy that evolves while retaining its core values. Braiding has always symbolised patience and attention to detail. It is a traditional technique that we have brought into the present with this collection.
Atmosphere
SKFK is a fashion brand born in Bilbao that sees design as a form of cultural and creative expression. From the very beginning, the brand has developed its own language, where identity, color, volume, and prints interact through a contemporary artistic lens, moving away from fleeting trends to embrace a recognizable and timeless aesthetic. Each collection emerges from a concept and a process, becoming a space for experimentation where cultural references, tributes to origins, and art itself serve as guiding threads.
Sustainability is approached across the board, from design to production. The brand prioritizes low-impact materials, maintains long-term relationships across its value chain, and operates under certifications (Fairtrade and GOTS) that ensure high environmental and social standards. A focus on quality and garment longevity is central to reducing impact and promoting more conscious consumption.
The creative direction is led by Maia Curutchet. Born in Paris and raised as an expatriate in various countries, she has roots in the French Basque Country. This blend of cultures profoundly shapes her approach to fashion, resulting in collections that are rich, diverse, and uniquely personal.
SKFK builds its identity by seeing fashion as a space for connection and dialogue with its community—a brand that understands fashion as a cultural platform, generating conversation and creating value beyond the product.
