ARIMA

ARIMA—meaning soul in Basque—reflects on what remains at the origin of things, even after the process itself has come to an end. The SS27 collection is rooted in the act of cultivation, understood as a practice of care, time and responsibility, where sowing, nurturing and harvesting become ways of engaging with living processes and with the land.

Inspired by Basque rural culture, ARIMA explores the memory embedded in materials, objects and knowledge passed down through generations. The vegetable garden becomes a symbolic space where nature, community and creativity coexist, celebrating slower rhythms, craftsmanship and continuity over immediacy.

The collection approaches fashion as a living process, shaped by decisions, people and shared knowledge that leave an invisible trace within every garment. Through this perspective, ARIMA reflects on the relationship between tradition and contemporary creation, highlighting the value of everyday rituals and what endures over time. Rather than presenting an agricultural narrative, the collection offers a meditation on care, time and the connection between people, landscape and the creative process.

SKFK is a fashion brand born in Bilbao that understands design as a form of cultural and creative expression. Since its beginnings, the brand has developed a distinctive visual language where colour, prints, geometry and volume meet art to create collections with a recognisable and timeless identity.

Each collection begins with a concept that guides the entire creative process, turning fashion into a space for experimentation where cultural references, memory, territory and contemporary creativity come together.

Sustainability is embedded throughout the brand, from design to production. SKFK prioritises low-impact materials, works with a stable and certified supply chain—including Fairtrade and GOTS certifications—and creates long-lasting garments that encourage a more conscious approach to fashion.

Creative direction is led by Maia Curutchet, a designer with roots in the French Basque Country. Her international background and artistic vision have shaped a brand identity where fashion becomes a platform for dialogue, community and storytelling.
