CAPRICCIO PER BENAVENTE
Originating in the 17th century as a musical form representing passages or even operas, the capriccio embodied creative freedom, ingenuity and virtuosity, where each note conveys the composer’s imagination and teh performer’s skill. Translated into fashion, the concept is transformed into the artist’s own creative process: their daily practice, aesthetic choices and the influences that shape their vision.
Inspiration comes from the authenticity of the work itself, rather than from external references,thus giving rise to a proposal that defines the brand’s concept of masculinity, while consolidating a distinctive, coherent aesthetic. Each garment embodies this philosophy, while striking a balance between theatricality and accuracy, excess and refinement, in an ongoing interplay between tradition and innovation.

Atmosphere
Paco Benavente, creative director of the Valencian fashion firm Benavente, started his training in Pattern Making and Fashion in Valencia, where he explored and experimented with artisanal techniques that would eventually become the cornerstone of the brand.
He later expanded his studies in Fashion Design at the Barreira School of Design, where he refined his ideas and enriched them with a solid technical training that allowed him to shape volumes, forms, and constructions on a base meticulously built from pattern making and garment craftsmanship. In 2015, he received the Best Emerging Design Collection award at Valencia Fashion Week, marking the start of a distinctive career in fashion.
Over time, Benavente has bolstered a creative identity based on a triad of clean lines, artisanal essence and aesthetic purity. His work balances tradition and innovation, where each garment tells a story and every detail conveys its meticulous craftsmanship and vision.
In his latest collections, the label has outlined a concept of masculinity that is simultaneously feminine, romantic and ethereal, thus breaking conventions and challenging stereotypes. This approach embraces a man who is no longer by specific trends or aesthetics, but by a personal character, lifestyle and feeling.
Benavente has carved out a niche of his own, establishing himself as a fresh and essential voice in today’s fashion world: a label that not only dresses, but also leaves a lasting impression.
