TexMeeting 2025 · Value in the chain. Collaborating to compete

The textile industry has a unique chance to evolve and grow through collaboration. In a global context that is constantly evolving —with changing consumer trends, technological advances, increasing regulatory demands and growing competition— the sector is called to activate its full collective potential.

Textile companies, garment manufacturers, fashion brands and institutions all share a common goal: ensuring continuity, competitiveness and adaptability across the entire value chain. And this can only happen if we understand ourselves as what we truly are: an interdependent ecosystem where every actor plays a key role in generating value.

Collaboration is no longer just a strategy; it’s a necessity to grow, innovate and face shared challenges with collective intelligence. From sustainability to digitalisation, from adapting to new business models to accessing strategic markets, what will truly make the difference is strong, effective connection across all stakeholders.

TexMeeting 2025 is a space to inspire, connect and build future-ready partnerships. A gathering that invites us to look ahead with realism, yes, but also with confidence in the sector’s ability to evolve.

This year’s programme of Texfor’s annual conference includes two complementary round tables addressing some of the key challenges and collaboration opportunities in the textile value chain:

ROUND TABLE 1 · Fashion and industry: an essential alliance

A space to reflect on how brands and industrial companies can better align their goals, share responsibility and build more stable and sustainable relationships.
The discussion will include perspectives from various actors in the fashion sector, who will explore the need for collaboration from the design phase to production in a market context defined by tight pricing and increasing expectations.

ROUND TABLE 2 · When textiles become solutions: alliances to lead key sectors

An overview of collaboration opportunities to access new markets, drive innovation and improve responsiveness in strategic areas such as public procurement and high-value-added sectors. The round table will feature input from companies producing finished textile goods, manufacturers of protective equipment and institutional representatives.
