Nacho Lamar is a fashion designer born in Zaragoza, a city where flowers shiver with cold. Throughout his childhood, he held a pencil in his hand with which he would depict everything he saw; scribbling his imagination has been his longest-running “professional career”.
Drawing, his great passion, led him to study at the Zaragoza School of Art, where his curiosity for different artistic techniques was awakened — among them ceramics, photography and design. He trained as a Senior Technician in Advertising Graphics and a Senior Technician in Pattern-Making and Fashion, before graduating in Fashion Design from the European Institute of Design in Madrid.
His accolades include awards such as the Aguja Goyesca, the Prize for Best Aragonese Designer and the National Fashion Prize for Young Designers, as well as the creation of the uniforms for the Hotel Canfranc Estación. He currently runs a space where the craft of bespoke tailoring and his contemporary vision exist side by side.
