ECOS DE LA LUZ
Light does not just shine, it rests, moves, remembers. In this collection, light becomes a language, an invisible thread between past and present, between movement and pause, between what can be seen and what is barely perceptible.
Ecos de la Luz (Echoes of Light) does not seek precision, but perception. It is an attempt to capture those moments when light grazes a surface and leaves something behind: an emotion, a feeling, an impact.
Not inspired by painting as a direct reference, but as a latent emotion, this collection explores light as liquid time. It flows between styles, while linking the masculine and the feminine, the ancient and the modern, the polished and the raw. Opposites do not clash here, they embrace.
The garments are made from honest materials: textured linens, natural cottons, washed silks, translucent layers that do not hide the body, but allow it to breathe. Nothing is perfectly symmetrical. The lines are smooth, the cuts laid back, the details slightly off-kilter. A print may suggest a flower or the memory of one. A line may contain structure or allow it to dissolve. Patchwork does not mend imperfections, it celebrates them as part of life.
The colour palette is introspective, almost emotional: breathing whites, powdery peach, nude, washed-out mint, muted pastels. Shades that do not dominate, but convey moods, light, silence.
Ecos de la Luz (Echoes of Light) does not attempt to capture beauty. It allows it to move, change, contradict itself. It does not ask to be explained, only to be felt. Like light. Like memory. Like art, perhaps…, if art could breathe.

About Me
From an early age, I have been fascinated by fashion, both in magazines and in real life. As a little kid, I often cut and altered my new dresses.
I always needed to manipulate clothes, with my scissors always at hand.
When I grew older, there was no doubt in my mind: I wanted to pursue fashion design. I enrolled at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Barcelona and later completed a course at Central Saint Martins in London.
After gaining experience working with local brands and multinational companies, I decided to follow a creative calling and founded eikō ai.
The Brand
The name eikō ai comes from the Japanese phonetic translation of “Glory” and “Love”—the name and surnames of the brand’s founding partners. The brand is a seamless blend of casual style and sophistication.
eikō ai began with a reinterpretation of classic wardrobe staples, infusing them with a
unique perspective. As we grew, we expanded our offerings, introducing new products to broaden our “universo” and connect with a wider audience.
