“Billy I El Hermoso” explores reincarnation through the idea that a person can inhabit different identities over time, carrying with them versions of themselves that never fully disappear.
We propose a coexistence between past and present, where what has been lived manifests itself in subtle gestures, like memories that persist without conscious explanation. This idea translates into garments where multiple layers of the same person coexist physically, pieces inherited from another stage, details out of context or symbols displaced from their original setting.
Transformation is presented as a celebration; the collection’s universe revolves around the idea of reincarnation as a way of continuing to be oneself.
