ACCEPTANCE LETTER

Jeakyong Sim (b. 1993, South Korea) is a Barcelona-based fashion designer, researcher, and educator, and the founder of Acceptance Letter. Trained in both fashion design and visual anthropology, he treats clothing as a language, building womenswear that is narrative and circular by construction. He has presented his work in Seoul, Berlin, and at 080 Barcelona Fashion, where The Jester’s Prayer marks his second consecutive season. Alongside his studio practice, he teaches at fashion schools in Barcelona. His research has looked at heritage craft and its relationship to circular practices, with a focus on mono-material approaches.
