Inspired by the cult film Hackers (1995), this collection pays tribute to its post-punk aesthetic and subversive message. Like the film’s protagonists fighting against a larger system, it reflects our journey as an independent brand navigating an industry dominated by giants.
Marking 404 Studio’s seven-year anniversary, the collection embraces sustainability by repurposing deadstock yarns from previous collections. This approach not only reinforces our commitment to circularity but also transforms limitations into a source of creativity, bridging the brand’s past and future.
The designs explore contrasts in texture and silhouette, mirroring the chaos of cyberspace. Oversized, deconstructed forms evoke digital unpredictability, while sleek, body-hugging pieces reference the technical wardrobe of hackers. Metallic knits, handwoven nets, and saturated colors nod to ’90s fashion, infusing the collection with an edgy, rebellious spirit.
Adding to this experimental vision, we collaborated with United Nude, a shoe brand that shares our innovative approach. Together, we reimagined one of their most iconic heels, merging functionality with contemporary design to create footwear that embodies our aesthetic.
Hack the System is more than a collection—it’s a statement. A declaration of resilience, creativity, and passion. It’s our way of rewriting the rules, proving that independent voices can challenge the status quo and shape the future of fashion.
