Compendium of descriptive looks of diferent social archetypes. All go through alter of re-interpretation of volume and trimmings. Haute couture pieces with enveloping structures, and diferent codes, from fun tailoring to sophisticated work gear-clothes. It contrasts zero sustainable utopias, such as the American dream and the repressive dictatorship of North Korea. And it relativizes the need to look for novelty so that after two weeks any new product is duped in a Hong Kong workshop. In defense of contradiction and the right to be wrong, we could be talking about very well done shit.

Leo, 28 years old. Between the politely correct and irreverence. Having built up experience within the industry designing for Desigual, Vetements and Inditex and knowing the exhaustment of working for someone else, Sergio Castaño- Peña began to think about founding the Syndical Chamber project. In this, there is room for concepts from surrealism applied to wearable pieces, to the recovery of “alta modistería”, in unique commissioned pieces made one by one in the studio.

Complaint, irony, and other nuances of humor are very present, in a brand that appropriates the name of the outdated Chambe Syndicale de la haute couture, to re-think the garment as a new generation would do, which can’t stand shit one more second.
