JUAN VG presents his new collection as a stylistic journey through the everyday life of a “cayetano”: that iconic figure of the preppy aesthetic that the designer has observed since childhood on the streets of Valladolid.

This time, without losing his rebellious spirit or his commitment to upcycling, JUAN VG reconciles with the image that has always surrounded him deconstructing it and rebuilding it with a more mature, fresh, and provocative perspective.

The collection offers a complete narrative: from early morning looks with relaxed pieces to go out for bread or meet friends for a vermouth, to casual strolls, and into formal dinners or elegant events. Each outfit is designed to accompany the new preppy archetype through every part of their daily routine—reinterpreting classic codes with humor and sophistication: double-breasted blazers, sweaters over the shoulders, loafers, and even tracksuits, all reimagined with a bold, conscious, and completely contemporary twist.

This collection is not a critique, but a reinterpretation—a way to reconnect with something I once rejected, until I chose to embrace it and turn it into something freer and more personal.

JUAN VG evolves and embraces change, proving that there are many possibilities—and that you can shift from a rebel to a preppy without it being a big deal. Clothes are meant to be worn, enjoyed, and never to box us in.

Juan VG is a fashion designer whose creative journey began from a personal need: not feeling represented by the clothing available during his teenage years. At 15, he started customizing second-hand pieces and transformin garments from his own and his father’s wardrobe, developing a raw and instinctive approach to design.

Long before understanding the concept of upcycling, Juan was already practicing it—creating without buying anything new, using only what was available. This intuitive connection to upcycling would later become one of the core pillars of his design philosophy.

After studying Business and living abroad in Seoul and Hungary, Juan returned to Spain to study Fashion Design in Barcelonafor a year. These diverse experiences—cultural, academic, and personal—now shape the vision of his brand.

Juan VG is built on the idea of transformation. It reimagines basic, second-hand, or overlooked garments—often considered outdated—into bold, playful, and wearable pieces for contemporary life.

His work combines experimentation with functionality, bringing new life to the forgotten through design.
