SPRING SUMMER 2026
This season, Carlota Barrera explores intimacy as a space of tension — what lies closest to the body, what is hidden, and what happens when it is revealed. The collection studies the line between the private and the public, and how exposure becomes a language of its own.
Lingerie logic is applied through a lens of tailoring and menswear design: adjustable straps, sheer fabrics, hidden fastenings, and internal constructions are brought to the surface. Pin tucks mimic the seam of stockings; tuxedo straps recall bra closures; detached tapes suggest garters.
These interventions do not soften menswear — they reframe its structure, opening a conversation about seduction, vulnerability, and control. Fabric becomes a second skin, and structure becomes gesture.
The collection continues the brand’s mission to question what menswear is and what it can become. Situated between categories — formal/informal, seen/unseen, masculine/feminine — this collection embraces ambiguity, craft, and quiet defiance.
Atmosphere
Carlota Barrera, a designer and creative director based in Madrid, founded her eponymous label in London after graduating from Central Saint Martins, IED Madrid and London College of Fashion, where she specialised in menswear tailoring. Her vision begins with understanding and questioning menswear from within—exploring its codes, cultural weight and potential as a contemporary language.
The brand offers a contemporary perspective on menswear, shaped by a queer sensitivity that reinterprets tradition through an intimate and relevant lens. Each collection weaves together tailoring, modernity, heritage and craftsmanship, with a commitment to local production and collaboration with artisans.
Beyond her collections, Carlota expands her practice through bespoke tailoring, teaching, consulting and speaking engagements—sharing her vision across a variety of contexts and formats.
Since its launch, the brand has been recognised with the Vogue Fashion Fund in Spain, the MCDM Award and the Young Talent Prize from the Spanish Fashion Academy. It has collaborated with brands such as Leica, New Balance Football and Nike, and has been featured in publications including Vogue, GQ, The Telegraph and ICON El País.
