BIBENCIA

Roberto Montes is the designer and founder of BIBENCIA, a brand he created approximately three years ago together with his partner, Néstor Redó. Born in Madrid and currently based in Valencia, Roberto has built his career in fashion from a self-taught perspective, learning through practice and his experience working in workshops within the industry.

Although he studied Social Work, he decided to take a radical turn in his career and pursue one of his greatest aspirations: garment making and the creation of his own identity within the fashion world. Without a formal academic background in fashion design, he has developed his creative language through experimentation, continuous learning, and craftsmanship.

BIBENCIA was born as an extension of his own sensitivity and as a means of personal expression. Through each collection, Roberto uses fashion as a voice to communicate things that are sometimes difficult to express with words, transforming emotions, experiences, and concerns into garments that seek to tell a story and connect with those who wear them.
