We’re living in a time of relentless and rapid change, impacting every aspect of our lives.
From the rise of AI, 5G, and Big Data, to the growing movement towards sustainability and environmental responsibility to face the climate change, as well as shifts in economic and labour models, and evolving social and cultural perspectives.
These global transformations have the potential to profoundly reshape how we organise society and our economies.
The textile industry isn’t immune to these shifts. While it’s preparing for the challenges ahead, it also needs a broader vision to clearly navigate the future.
Are we witnessing changes so significant that they could mark the dawn of a new era— a true “Change of Era”? Or are we simply in an “Era of Change,” where the old systems remain, but we’re using new tools to adapt socially and economically?
