EUROPE THINKS ABOUT AUTHOR FASHION, BARCELONA BRINGS TOGETHER ITS KEY FIGURES.

During the European Author Fashion International Conference, some of the most relevant voices from the author fashion ecosystem in Europe will come together.

The event will take place on April 13 and 14 at Tinglados (Moll Oriental, 3, Barcelona), a group of port warehouses from the early 20th century that today form a unique space where historic architecture blends with privileged views of the Mediterranean.

APRIL 13, 2026: AUTHOR FASHION AS A SIGN OF IDENTITY: CHARACTERISTICS AND GLOBAL IMPACT

9:00 am — Institutional Opening
Opening ceremony with institutional representatives: Ministry of Culture of the Government of Spain, Generalitat de Catalunya, European Fashion Alliance, Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España (ACME) and Fundación Academia de la Moda Española (FAME).

9:30 am — Interview: “Fashion and culture: the role of author fashion in European cultural identity”
Gilles Lipovetsky reflects on fashion as a key element of European cultural identity.
Moderator: Leticia García (S Moda – El País).

10:45 am — Round table: “Europe as the epicentre of author fashion: challenges and opportunities”
Participants: Scott Lipinski (European Fashion Alliance / German Fashion Council), Pepa Bueno (ACME / FAME), Cecilie Thorsmark (Copenhagen Fashion Week).
Moderator: Sergio Álvarez (FAME).

12:30 pm — Round table: “Education and emerging talent: the role of new generations in European author fashion”

APRIL 14, 2026: INTERNATIONALISATION, DIGITALISATION AND SUSTAINABILITY AS COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES
