LOLA CASADEMUNT BY MAITE’s new collection for the next spring/summer 2025 season finds its inspiration in the most modern and futuristic Japan.
If there is something that never ceases to surprise us about the country of the Rising Sun, is the coexistence the centenary tradition with the most advanced modernity or even postmodernity, across all artistic expressions: fashion, architecture, lifestyle, etc.
In this collection, the most modern version linked to the “kawaii” concept is embodied in eclectic prints such as the firm’s already omnipresent logomania – this time, represented as if it was a geometric kaleidoscope. Another of the firm’s icons, the animal print, stained with the most saturated and energetic colors such as fuchsia and orange.
Also due to the combination of fabrics: printed silks with jacquards and tulle or embossed fabrics with sequins and glitter. Mixing prints and materials as a statement of intentions.
Likewise, following this “kawaii” imagery, the bags, backpacks, shoes and jewelry complete the total look of this urban collection with an unmistakable character for the next spring/summer 2025 season by LOLA CASADEMUNT BY MAITE.
Atmosphere
LOLA CASADEMUNT – a leading company in the design, manufacture and marketing of clothing and accessories for women – was born more than 40 years ago by Mrs. Lola Casademunt. In 1981, the founder began creating bows, headbands and other hair accessories by hand, with a very personal style, in the basement of her house in Cardedeu (Barcelona). Thanks to her enthusiasm and ambition, her pieces could be soon bought in nearby stores and, in less than two years, LOLA CASADEMUNT became a national reference hair accessories brand. Their pieces were well-known for their details, artisanal production and the use of high-quality materials.
Shortly after, Maite Casademunt, Ms. Lola’s daughter joined her team when she was very young after completing her Design studies.
Her incorporation soon brought a change of direction in the company, enriching it with the creation of a fashion line. Her nonconformist and entrepreneurial spirit, together with her capacity for creation and passion for dressing women with her own style, made the company position itself as a leading fashion company in Spain.
Since 2018, Maite Casademunt has been at the head of the company as president and creative director.
This generational change has merged the experience and 40 years heritage with the enthusiasm, freshness and particular Maite’s vision.
At the moment
LOLA CASADEMUNT is a pioneering fashion company that has the eponymous line of clothing and accessories “LOLA CASADEMUNT” and the premium line, “LOLA CASADEMUNT BY MAITE”. Both lines are renewed each season offering a total of four annual collections, following the trends set by the market, but always reinvented with the brand’s unique DNA.
In the last 4 years the company has experienced remarkable growth both nationally and internationally. As a result of this evolution, the company’s effort and work has been recognized with awards such as:
