Ernesto Naranjo, a fashion designer based in Spain, established his label in 2018 after winning the Mercedes Benz Fashion Talent at Madrid Fashion Week. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Central Saint Martins and presented his collection at London Fashion Week with the support of the Alexander McQueen Scholarship.
Ernesto has worked at Maison Margiela under its Creative Director, John Galliano, in the Artisanal and Prêt-à-Porter departments, at Balmain alongside Olivier Rousteing and has created capsule collections for Lane Crawford Hong Kong.
“Family First” is the cornerstone of all his projects. The family and its different characters are key to research and its collections’ creative process. The drama element of his ideas blends with the irony and geometry of shapes. Accessories imbue the visual ease of her looks with personality. Ernesto Naranjo produces all his collections in southern Spain, where he works with specialised craftspeople and dressmakers. The idea of reviving craftsmanship and injecting all the knowledge acquired through his international career in Paris fashion houses has been the perfect excuse to go back to his roots and build his studio in Spain.
Ernesto Naranjo was selected as a finalist for the Vogue Fashion Fund award in 2019, 2022 and 2024 thanks to Vogue Spain. In October 2024, he was selected as a finalist for the Fashion Trust Arabia Awards.
