What happens when the future is not what we dreamed of? In the early 1990s, screens were filled with digital universes that promised a limitless future. We grew up watching spacecraft cross pixelated galaxies, convinced that one day we could also become the protagonists of our own story. Inspired by the retro-galactic aesthetic of the 1990s and by one of the first video games created in 3D, Star Fox was a promise—the idea that, no matter how small you were, you could save entire worlds.

The collection reinterprets this universe through a contemporary lens: futuristic and enveloping silhouettes, cuts influenced by the vector landscapes of early digital environments, nostalgia explored through upcycling and recycled fabrics, structures inspired by space-pilot uniforms, metallic accessories that reinforce the idea of protection, and a vibrant palette that evokes 16-bit graphics and early 3D patterns.

More than a reference to the past, the proposal seeks to reconnect with the spirit of battle that defined those virtual worlds. A reminder that, despite the passing of time, we are still navigating between dreams while building our own destiny.

The CARRIERI project was founded in 2022 by Argentine designer Lucas Carrieri in Rosario, Argentina —his hometown— as part of the development of his final degree project in Fashion Design. From the outset, the brand has been shaped through an ongoing research process focused on garment architecture, the exploration of form, the study of the body in motion, and the reinterpretation of everyday clothing.

In 2024, after completing a demanding year-long migration process, Carrieri resumed his work from Madrid, Spain, where the project began consolidating its identity and long-term vision. Since its origins, the designer approaches clothing as part of a non-linear process of research and development, where each garment is conceived as a functional medium connected to everyday life.

CARRIERI positions itself as a genderless streetwear 2.0 brand, where experimental pattern cutting, ergonomics, and the real utility of the garment become essential pillars of the creative process. By working with everyday basics, the brand reimagines them through design, construction, and functional detailing, developing a distinctive language that bridges urban aesthetics with a critical perspective on contemporary dressing.
