NÒMADE

Garments migrate too.
They circulate between bodies, cities and contexts, gathering new readings with every move. They shift in shape, in intention, in energy. They never stay the same.

Nòmade grows out of this idea of constant transit: fashion as something alive, mutable, continuously transforming.

Every garment holds traces, references and cultural layers that rearrange themselves over time. What has been worn stops belonging to a single story and becomes part of a collective narrative — open and contemporary.

The looks explore the meeting of identities, silhouettes and visual codes. Prints in conversation with one another, layered textures, a wealth of materials and an intense colour palette build an aesthetic of contrast and coexistence. Fabrics, volumes and finishes mix freely, producing a hybrid language in which the handcrafted and the contemporary sit together organically.

The circulation of garments is proposed not only as a conscious practice, but as a form of cultural exchange. To dress becomes to reinterpret: to take something that already exists and project it into a new context.

This show understands clothing as an archive in motion.
A garment is never finished in a single life, because its real value lies in everything it might still become.

080 REBORN is an initiative by 080 Barcelona Fashion that seeks to champion the value of second-hand clothing and raise consumer awareness of the importance of a hybrid fashion consumption model that also embraces the purchase of pre-owned garments.

Since the initiative was launched, Fermín + Gilles, a stylist and creative director duo with more than 25 years of experience across fashion, advertising, publishing and other artistic projects, have served as the creative directors of 080 REBORN.

Through its collections and presentations, 080 REBORN champions and elevates second-hand clothing while exploring the potential of upcycling as a creative and sustainable tool.

In May 2026, 080 REBORN ventured beyond the usual setting of 080 Barcelona Fashion for the first time. The Museu d’Art Modern de Tarragona hosted a retrospective of 080 REBORN, bringing together collections presented over recent years and highlighting the project’s conceptual, aesthetic and social evolution within the circular fashion landscape.

Across its various editions, 080 REBORN has established itself as one of the runway’s most innovative and distinctive projects, with collections created exclusively from garments sourced from second-hand shops, social organisations, recycling facilities and vintage markets.

Each edition develops its own conceptual and narrative universe — from social movements and literary imaginaries to urban subcultures — demonstrating that circular fashion can go beyond sustainability to become a powerful form of conceptual, contemporary, creative and deeply aesthetic expression.
