TILL IT BREAKS is a reflection on rupture as a transformative act. The collection explores the breaking point and the possibility of rebirth, articulating a discourse on change, endings, and new beginnings.

This project marks an aesthetic shift from the previous collection, leaving behind sobriety as its main axis to make way for a more expressive narrative, while maintaining coherence with the brand’s essential codes.

The maternal figure, read from a more personal and intimate perspective, inspires much of the imagery. It is a tribute to his mother as a woman, to her youth, and to the 1980s and early 1990s, which are also his first memories connected to fashion.

Flowers, polka dots, defined shoulders, and a renewed tailoring are reinterpreted through a contemporary, more minimalist lens.

TILL IT BREAKS is rupture, memory, and courage.

Carlos Doblas, the creator behind the brand, has an outstanding career in the fashion industry.

He has spent the last 9 years working as Head of Design and Image Director at Sfera, and has designed collections for renowned brands such as Zara, Bimba & Lola, and Uterqüe.

After studying Fine Arts at the University of Seville and graduating in Fashion Design at IADE, he began his professional career as the right- hand man and design assistant to DAVIDELFIN, one of Spain’s most influential fashion designers, while also launching his own project.

In 2010, Carlos launched his eponymous brand, Carlos Doblas.

In 2023, the brand evolved into DOBLAS —a renewed project that still preserves its founder’s essence while offering a more mature and solid approach within the market.
