Esaú Yori embarked on his career as a designer more than 10 years ago and has come to embody an international statesman for the fashion industry. He grew up in Lima, Peru, and began his career as a creative director when he moved to the European city of Barcelona in 2000. In 2011 he became the Academic Director at Idep Barcelona – University of Image and Design, where he stayed until 2014.

Literally straddling two hemispheres, Esaú Yori is a brand with headquarters in Barcelona, Spain, and its creative head office in Guangzhou, China. In 2015, Esaú Yori meticulously spent its startup phase preparing for the launch of its first collection on its own Popup Showroom at Milan and Paris Fashion Week.
As a designer brand, most of Esaú Yori’s designs are limited edition. The reason is not to appear pretentious. Rather, the limited edition concept pays tribute to the ideology of its found, Esaú Yori.
“I believe that there are already too many clothes in the world. We need fewer
products, better quality and more love and care in what we decide to create.”
Esaú Yori’s brand philosophy is to create timeless and luxury garments for customers who demand quality and exclusivity:
“I want women to be their own accessory. I would like to create dresses to bring out every single beauty in every woman of the world. To be part of the Esaú Yori family is not about money. It is about taste, ideas and statement.”
This is the beginning of a new era in the fashion industry, and Esaú Yori wants be part of it. The way that people consume fashion is changing and the brand is being created mixing two important ideas: tradition and modernity.
“Esaú yori pays homage to the modern woman, transforming the traditional dialogue of female and providing an alternative for the unconventional. Crafting enduringly effortless and strikingly bold designs, Esaú Yori seeks to stimulate the discussion surrounding gender fluidity.
Strong bespoke tailoring and soft drapery present a uniquely feminine take on masculinity silhouettes. With an emphasis on structural aesthetics and cultural influences, Esaú Yori analyses the female form through gender commentary and intimate thinking”.
A woman’s mind is her best accessory.
Her mind is worth more than her matter.
She is inspired by intelligence.
She values thinkers, dreamers and achievers.
The world has a window into her mind through the clothes she wears.
Who she is defines how she looks.
Above all, she stands for a statement.
We don’t decorate women, we clothe Them.
Data of interest
Esaú Yori creates collections from an autobiographical perspective, taking personal experiences as inspiration. The Autumn / Winter 20.21 collection ‘Uninvited’ is a form of statement for all of the misfits and outcasts.
‘Uninvited’ is an ode to individuality and to all those characteristics that make us different. It is a personal review by designer Esaú Yori on the emotional and mental burdens of the past and how these affect the evolution of people, creating different demons that will accompany us all our lives.
With a minimalist colour palette, using black and white as the base of the entire collection and complimentary additions of navy blue, grey and khaki, Esaú Yori returns to his tailoring roots, inspired by the deconstruction of the male codes to create a new female silhouette full of details: wide shoulders, fitted waists, large and disproportionate pieces, a study of the shirt and wrap-?around coats that draw a timeless and genderless woman.
Fabrications include Italian cashmere, English and French wool, Japanese Cotton and Chinese Silk. A carefully considered combination, creating one of Esaú Yori’s most personal collections to date.
