Sweet Matitos, new atelier brand of international projection, has closed the 080 Barcelona Fashion today with the presentation of their first collection “Sweet Life” within the 080 Barcelona Fashion Nights special program. It’s a proposal for spring-summer 2018 that shows a woman of different faces: romantic, serene, natural and regal, but always elegant and lover of the best fabrics and cuts.

For his part, the young designer Adrià Machado has been in charge of opening the days of shows in the morning with his brand ATM. The newcomer has presented “Mirage SS18”, a line inspired in mirages and optical illusions that he has translated into clean designs that play with such fabrics as linen, cotton, viscose, sheer and padded to make a statement.

Afterwards, the swimwear brand Como un pez en el agua has walked the runway with “To beach or not to beach” for next summer season. It’s a line that breaks the boundaries between beachwear and streetwear through pieces like swimsuits with frills, denim bralettes and printed tops alongside sophisticated bikinis that turn beachwear into a stylish look.
Punto Blanco has followed on the 080 runway with “Naughty SS18”, a collection inspired by the urban style of the nineties. Color block, sportswear and oversize silhouettes with a retro vibe define this proposal of modern and rebel attitude that opts for a bright color palette.

Designer Elena Estaun has closed the morning shows with “Ethnic Vibes”, her debut collection on the 080 Barcelona Fashion catwalk. The creator joins jewellery and fashion to present a new concept of “jewel attire” that she uses to show how women have been adapting to the historical changes, always with the best style. With a strong daring beauty look and a lot of attitude, models strutting the runway have shown an ethnic, urban and bold style, which is the basis of a new elegance.
In the afternoon, Wom&Now has presented “Hypnotic” for spring-summer 2018. It’s a collection where printed and bright looks have led to a more sober creations regarding colors, but with the same sophisticated feel that is typical of this womenswear brand.

Afterwards has been the turn of Torras, which, inspired by the beatnick spirit of the 50s in the United States, has shown their masculine collection “Beat Generation”. The non-conformism and yearning of freedom have been translated into a more daring designs than what is usal in this brand through subtle prints, mix&match looks and the importance of the leather jacket, icon of this social movement.
Finally, Naulover has been next on the runway with “Dark Lido”, a collection with which they celebrate the 60th anniversary of this womenswear brand. It’s a proposal por spring-summer 2018 that recreates flowers, stripes and summer tweed for a look inspired by the lido in the twenties but updated through maxi volumes, embroidered details and the unique Swarovski sparkle.
