MACSON CLOSES THE 1ST DAY OF SHOWS OF 080 BARCELONA FASHION

The menswear brand Mascon has closed the fashion shows of the first day of 080 Barcelona Fashion 20th edition. Within the special program of the 080 Barcelona Fashion Nights, it has presented the capsule collection “The Last Exit”, its debut on the runway to celebrate the brand’s 75th anniversary.
 
The action on the runway, nonetheless, has begun this morning with the childrenswear brand Bóboli and Little Creative Factory. Bóboli has presented “Enchanted forest”, their ready to buy collection for autumn-winter 2017-18 inspired by magical forests and fairies. It’s a collection full of color with trendy designs in mini size. On her part, Little Creative Factory has presented “The age of innocence”, with which dresses girls in natural hues and light fabrics, inspired by the universe of dance.

After the official opening ceremony, it’s been the turn of Daniel Rosa, National Award to Emerging Design in the last edition of the 080 runway. The young designer has presented “Roots”, a continuation of his winning proposal because, as that one, runs away from the metropolis to take the inspiration in the wide natural open landscapes within a neorural point of view. The next one has been Krizia Robustella, who presents “The Jungle Brothers SS2018”, inspired by the sapeurs of Congo. It’s a collection that shows the 21st century dandies and their balance between elegance, sport and streetwear and that features the collaboration with the illustrator Fatimorri in the prints.

Miquel Suay has been in charg of opening the afternoon shows. The menswear designer has presented “Coratge (Courage)” for spring-summer 2018. The creator gets the inspiration in the Borgia, the famous dynasty of Valencia –his hometown-, who left an extraordinary legacy thanks to their arts patronage. He translates this in a rick proposal with pleats and embroidered tulles that bring movement and an arty touch in men’s designs declined in white and black as the main colours.
 
The winner of the National Award to the Best Collection last season, Oscarleon, has been the next one on the runway to present “Love smells like a rose”. It’s a collection that represents a step forward for this designer for the use of colours and prints, although the cut is true to his style as well as the introduction of tees with message, the baggy pants and the midi skirts.

Afterwards it’s been the turn of the other winner of last winter edition’s Best Collection Award, Antonio Miro. The well-known fashion brand moves away from the sobriety of the last collection and changes for a more spectacular line with shiny golden details on black and red nighttime designs. In contrast, for daytime it presents more casual designs in washed denim with white big dots in a collection by the name of “The Crown”, as it gets the inspiration in the new 21st century idols born in social media. Daring and free-spirit youngsters, just like Antonio Miro’s designs for next spring-summer 2018.
