Guest designer of this 19th edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion, ZE Garcia, has been in charge to bring the 3rd days of shows at the National Theatre of Catalonia to a close with his ready to buy collection “Dualism”. The young designer has presented a very feminine and sensual collection, where sheers, volumes and vibrant colours like turquoise and fuchsia go along with the timeless black. The collection pays homage to the custom-made work of his Barcelona atelier, but maximizing it to give a more baroque and spectacular look on the catwalk.
.
In the morning, the newcomers Pilar del Campo and Anel Yaos have opened the day of fashion shows at the TNC. For her debut, Pilar del Campo has presented “Reflections”, a proposal based on a sole piece of clothing: the leather jacket, which she turns into a second skin for woman and versions it in the multiple ways: long, midi or to the waist, combined with bodies and silk culottes.
.
For his part, Anel Yaos has debuted on the runway with “Odaxelagnia”, a proposal that gets its inspiration in the complexity of human beings and the paraphilia that names the collection. Bold, it’s a line with which the designer experiments with volumes, plays with layering and introduces and bright colour palette mixed with denim.

In an opposite style, Pablo Erroz has followed on the 080 Barcelona Fashion catwalk with his collection “Panorama” for autumn-winter 2017-18. Inspired by figures that have defied the statu quo, those artists misunderstood by society who stand by their beliefs and moral values, the collection presents masculine looks in a mixture of fabrics and a colour palette true to the designer’s style, with navy, white , Klein, grey and black.
.
Afterwards, it’s been the turn of Krizia Robustella, another familiar name of the 080 Barcelona Fashion runway. With a thought-out setting that has turned the TNC in a graveyard, the Catalan designer has presented “Jolly Death Crew”, a collection that brings her tracksuit style to the zombie universe with death motifs applied to her oversize silhouettes.

For its part, Escorpion has closed the morning shows with “Heritage”, their proposal for this spring-summer 2017 within the see now-buy now trend. The evocation of the past is the leitmotif in this capsule collection that translates nature elements intro serene and fresh looks for woman in a rich colour palette.
.
As for the parallel activities, this morning has been the presentation of the Movistar Barcelona Fashion Film Festival at the Open Area. It’s a festival focused on audiovisual creation in fashion and it’s the only one of these characteristics in Barcelona, whose open call has begun within the 080 Barcelona Fashion 19th edition kick-off. In October will be the award ceremony at the Museu del Disseny in Barcelona.
.
In the afternoon, Antonio Miro has opened the runway with their collection “Origens” for autumn-winter 2017-18. Inspired by the Amish community, the proposal is an immersion to craftsmanship but from a very urban and contemporary point of view thanks to the clean silhouettes and bold details, like sheers and applications. It’s a very elegant collection both for man and woman.

After this iconic name of the Catalan fashion scene, it’s been the turn of VM La Siberia and their collection “Music”. From this long-life fashion house they have spoken out about the collection: “we follow our journey inspired by music. It inspires us, moves us, gets us sensitive, transforms us. Music always goes along with us, to enjoy, to work, to improvise, to listen to, to dance, to think... Like music, our collection seeks the beauty of the form and the expression of feelings”. This inspiration is translated into a line that mixes furs, textures and colours, with rhythm and harmony, like a musical melody.
.
Once the fashion shows have finished, another parallel activity has drawn all the attention. Within the 080 Barcelona Fashion, the international fashion brand H&M has opened their amazing 5.000 square meters flagship store in Paseo de Gracia with a big party for guests only, who have been able to discover it exclusively. On Friday February 3rd, the last day of 080 Barcelona Fashion, the store will open to the general public, who will see the new H&M concept of shop with all their collections and even a gastronomic space.
.
Tomorrow Thursday 2nd, TNC will be home to the fashion shows by newcomers Daniel Rosa and Aubergin,  as well as Torras and Wom&Now in the morning. In the afternoon, Yerse, Lebor Gabala, Justicia Ruano and Brain & Beast will present their collection within the 080 Barcelona Fashion framework.
