When we are about to kick-off the new season, we look back to remember the proposals of the 080 Barcelona Fashion designers for this spring 2017. Regarding woman’s fashion, there are different trends to highlight, like stripes, which this spring become a major element as they are wider in graphic outfits for a statement look. Yerse, Naulover, Lebor Gabala and Wom and Now are some of the names that include stripes in their collections.

For the more daring, this spring asymmetries are another important trend, especially in the cleavage to show one of the shoulders. The proposals are as varied as the designers that walk on the 080 Barcelona Fashion runway: from the sport look by Brain & Beast to the night-out number by Justicia Ruano or the urban outfit by Txell Miras.
.
Moreover, this trend is sum up to the eighties revival we’re living this spring thanks to designers like Justicia Ruano and ZE Garcia, who in his ready to buy collection presents XXL volumes in the sleeves for a powerful silhouette.

As for the colour palette, white is the king of the total look this spring 2017, as there are many brands and designers that offer alternatives in this no-color, especially for casual day-time dresses. Celia Vea, Rita Row, Loa by Lidia Aguilera, Sita Murt, Custo Barcelona and Ssic and Paul are some of the designers that dress women in white this season. On another note, yellow also wants to make a statement this spring and it’s an important colour for Escorpion, Sita Murt and Antonio Miro in womenswear.

.
In fact, yellow is a colour that also dresses men this spring, as shown in the collections by Antonio Miro; Samuel Alarcón, with a fantastic knit sweater; Lyle & Scott for a more casual look and Miquel Suay in a more daring alternative.

Continuing with men’s fashion, there is trend that keeps going on this spring on the 080 Barcelona Fashion runway: cropped trousers. It’s a silhouette that we’ve seen for several seasons thanks to designers like Pablo Erroz and that this spring names like Antonio Miro, Torras and Blame Label also present in their collections.
