Seed&Click and 080 Barcelona Fashion are proud to present the 3rd edition of 080 Investor Day..

This year, 080 Investor Day not only aims to generate synergies and networking among fashion startups and internationally renowned investors on their investment forum but also to give visibility to emerging talents in Catalonia who have created their own fashion brands and want to connect with potential investors and established fashion companies.

080 Investor Day will take place on 28th June at 4pm, at the Sant Pau Art Nouveau Complex, and will include international speakers and the leading International Investment Forum focused on fashion startups and emerging brands.

 This way, 080 Barcelona Fashion offers the perfect platform for forerunning startups and designers to shine as our next industry leaders and ultimately, a place where big fashion players and investors can discover talents and innovation and investment opportunities.

A top international jury will choose not only the best fashion startup but also the best emerging brand which will be awarded a prize valued at 100k thanks to our incredible partners: McCann, Baker McKenzie, Grupo Zeta, 4YFN, KPMG Impulsa and ESADE Creápolis.

The entire event will be hosted in English to facilitate the participation of an international public, in line with the purpose of positioning Barcelona as a hub of innovation and entrepreneurship in the fashion industry too.

Matthew works at the crossroads of Fashion, Retail and Tech and heads up LCF's Fashion Innovation Agency. Partnering the most exciting designer talent in London with the very latest fashion-tech to create groundbreaking brand collaborations and consultancies across the fashion, retail, lifestyle, cultural and digital industries. Matthew delivered the world's first digital skirt for Nokia, wireless charging clothing for Microsoft, a 3D-printed bionic arm to help celebrate the launch of Star Wars: The Force Awakens and what Forbes described as 'the first example of truly beautiful wearable tech'​ for Disney. He was named in the 100 most influential people in the world of Wearable Technology, ranked among the 'Top 15 people in UK tech' by BBC3 and a 'fashion-tech trailblazer changing the course of retail' by Drapers.

David Drake, through his family office LDJ Capital, has acted as GP & LP investors with his partners in fund-of-funds, realty funds, venture capital funds & hedge funds. Mr Drake's investments currently have 50+ global directors that maintain relations with institutions & family offices with $1.5 trillion in assets. Privately, Mr. Drake has hosted the Harvard Business Club at his NY home, produced Carnegie Hall concerts, & raised funds for the charity Best Buddies for years.

Responsible of Media for Equity at Grupo Zeta
Manuel Moreno is responsible of Media for Equity at Grupo Zeta, where they conduct media for equity investments, like in the cases of Wallapop and Macarena Poletti from BBooster.

Having studied at Business School, OBS Business School and ESDEN, among others, he is mentor at Founder Institute and ESADE BAN, apart from being professor at the “New Technologies” master of the Jaume I University Foundation.

He is a senior associate member of the Firm's Tax Practice Group. He has experience in the field of international tax advising, for both direct and indirect taxes. Mr. Blázquez has taken part in transactions advising Spanish clients with business interests abroad and non-residents with investments in Spain, ensuring optimization of tax benefits in national and transnational deals, mergers and acquisitions. His clients include several 2.0 companies and worldwide entrepreneurs.

More than 20 years of experience in Corporations of the technological sector in positions of senior management gave him the necessary energy to create his own company and to invest, with other entrepreneurs, in fashion projects. "Design, production, internationalization, foreign investment, sales channels, are some of the battles of the new fashion brands." Currently working in the Mobile World Capital, within the 4YFN team in new business development whose objective is to bring the startup world to large corporations so that together they can discover new forms of connection, helping each other, from the contribution to innovation that startups offer corporations.
  LUIS LARA
SENIOR ADVISOR - KPMG FASHION
Luis Lara has more than 20 years of experience in the fashion industry, holding various executive positions. Since 2009, he has assisted a variety of retail and fashion companies to develop internationally. In 2000 he joined the international management team at Inditex, participating in the development of Zara and other of the group’s concepts in several European countries, and as head of the expansion of franchises in the East, Latin America and in Asia.
