BARCELONA FASHION TO HOST CONNECTA’T NETWORKING DAY, BY FUTURMOD

2018 has just begun and FUTURMOD is preparing its star event: the CONNECTA’T networking day that will take place within the framework of 080 Barcelona Fashion, where consolidated fashion-textile companies and sector entrepreneurs will get to know one another.
The FUTURMOD project aims to build new value chains and networks of relationships between entrepreneurs, consolidated companies, the different branches of the administration, design schools and research centers, to promote open innovation and accelerate the development of new businesses in the fashion industry
Once the challenges to the industry in the sector were identified, FUTURMOD has been building a network of contacts between two parties - consolidated companies and entrepreneurs - with the aim of establishing stable collaborations that can contribute to improving their competitiveness and to deriving benefits for both parts.
The CONNECTA’T networking day, to be held coinciding with 080 Barcelona Fashion (from January 29 to February 2, 2018), will be hosted in the Sant Pau Art Nouveau Complex, this coming February 2.
On the day, a group of entrepreneurs participating in the FUTURMOD project will present their projects to a group of people in charge of companies in the fashion industry, potential investors, and high ranking representatives from Catalan entities and sectors of the Catalan administration and other entrepreneurs in the sector. The objective is to accomplish very dynamic synergies among the assistants that facilitate connections aimed at the generation of economic activity among the participants.

“There are talents and ideas outside our corporate community that are too precious to be ignored”. Henry Chesbrough
